This is a really good movie that shows the more business side of baseball. Something else I thought was really cool was the commentary on how technology is taking over the game, but most likely not for the better. Clint Eastwood is great, as usual, and he is evenly matched by Amy Adams, who was fantastic. It’s really interesting to see the relationship dynamic between the two as the movie progresses and as the audience learns more and more about their past. Justin Timberlake is a pretty good match for the two of them. The downfall with this movie was that it was slow and there is not a whole lot of action. And the baseball lingo can get a little confusing for those that don’t know the game at all. However, the ending is totally satisfying and completely worth sitting through the slowness. So, not a bad one to watch.
