So, I’m a big fan of the American one, so I’ve been meaning to watch this one for awhile, and I’m glad I did. I thought this one awesome. What was interesting to me was what this decided to leave out/put in from the book, versus what the American one did. Overall, for me, this one was lighter, than the American version. I don’t know if that’s the right word, but it’s the only one I have right now haha. Noomi Rapace is a fantastic Lisbeth. I really can’t compare her to Rooney Mara because both of them are so great for the role. But she was great. There were also some things that this adaptation stayed faithful to book for, that the American didn’t, which I really appreciated. Yeah, this movie is long and difficult to watch sometimes, but it is a fantastic adaptation, and I can’t wait to watch the rest of the trilogy.
