Number one. Oh Halle. Who gave you that hair? Oi. Anyway. I thought this was a tense thriller. The biggest thing that got to me was I was always one step ahead of the characters. I knew what the characters would/should do a couple of minutes before it was ever brought up. I thought the acting was good from Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and Michael Eklund. Berry was strong, despite her personal issues, Breslin had the whole creeped out screaming teenager thing down, and Eklund was scary. The cinematography was also pretty cool. I thought the cinematography was cool, but it was almost too typical. If that makes sense. Shaky cam, fish eye, even a drag me to hell shot. Like I’m not really complaining because it worked for this movie, but it was expected. Overall though, this is an interesting enough thriller that kept my attention.
