Without Frank Langella, I don’t know if I would have liked it as much. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an interesting story, and the rest of the actors aren’t bad or anything, he just elevated it. It’s an interesting look at not only where we could be headed technology wise, but at the same time it’s a more basic human story of growing old. I appreciated that the near future wasn’t some crazy futuristic dystopia. It looked just like today, just with better tech. The script is a little clunky, but like I said, Langella takes it and still turns out a wonderful performance. A familiar story with a fun twist makes this a decent movie.
